Well, it's been a while. When i started this blog, my plan was to do a post a week at least. That clearly hasn't happened. Being a single parent of a toddler is one hell of a job. So what have you missed? Separation Anxiety Nyla has always been clingy with me, don't get me wrong. However this past month she has been clearly going through some separation anxiety. She will not be put down in the morning (until she has her hot chocolate), and clings to my legs when i am trying to clean and get things done. If i leave the room for too long, she cries as if i've been gone months, face full of tears, and won't let go of me. I try to involve her in what i'm doing, or distract her with toys/books, but she really just wants me to carry her around like a baby at the minute and gives me non stop kisses. We're back to me having to have her in the bathroom while i shower, go toilet, clean etc, and the baby gate is open at all times to avoid a meltdown....
